(BRADFORD, Pennsylvania): On September 16, K9s Rigby and Duke visited GGB Elementary School. School administration and Officer Shelby Fuqua invited the K9s, their handlers, Officer Dakota Eaton and Sergeant Seth Shephard, and District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer to meet with students. The officers talked to the students about the K9s and how they help law-enforcement. The K9s demonstrated how they use their nose to search for things.  The students were able to ask the officers about the dogs and were excited to watch the dogs “search” the cafeteria.

Rigby is a drug-detecting K9 with the McKean County Detective Bureau.  Duke is a drug-detecting K9 with the City of Bradford Police Department.
