Jury Trial October 13, 2021

Following a jury trial at the McKean County Courthouse on October 13, 2021, Joshua Pingie was convicted of crimes related to stealing a firearm.  The defendant was convicted of Theft by Unlawful Taking, Receiving Stolen Property, Disorderly Conduct, and Criminal Mischief.

The charges stemmed from an investigation into the defendant’s actions in regards to stealing an AK-47 from a mechanic shop in Ormsby.  The case was investigated by Trooper Andrew Eliason of the Pennsylvania State Police-Lewis Run.  Assistant District Attorney Ashley Shade prosecuted the case on behalf of the Commonwealth. The Judge scheduled sentencing for December 2, 2021.
