(MCKEAN COUNTY, Pennsylvania: April 12, 2024):  District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer reports that charges of Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Child Pornography and other charges were filed against a Wilcox man for intercourse with a 13 year old child and photographing her in a state of nudity. 

Trooper Anthony Tettis of Pennsylvania State Police – Ridgway filed the charges against John Hodgdon, age 53. According to the criminal complaint,, the charges include 12 counts of sexual offenses against the minor and Child Pornography – 29 counts of Possession; 29 counts of Photographing; and 29 counts of Intending the Child to be Photographed.

HODGDON is accused of having intercourse and oral sex with the child and taking photographs of her in a wooded area in Wetmore Township in October.

He appeared before Magisterial District Judge David Engman who set bail at $750,000 straight.  He was remanded to McKean County Jail and sentenced for central court on April 18^th.
