I wanted to inform everyone that if you receive a call from a Sgt. Daniel Woods, from the McKean County Sheriff's Office, it is a scam.  The number he is leaving on voicemails is 814-561-2708.  That is not the number to the McKean County Sheriff's Office.  I did receive a call about this and I also received a call from Bradford Twp. Police Dept. that people are receiving these calls.  Please do not give them any personal information or make any type of payments over the phone.  If you believe the McKean County Sheriff's Office is attempting to reach you, please contact our local number, 814-887-3454 and leave a message and we will return the call.  If you believe you have been the victim of a scam, please contact your local police department.
