On 02/22/2022 City of Bradford Police took John-Jay F. Rhodes into custody for an arrest warrant that was from a motor vehicle accident that had occurred back on 08/04/2021 on East Main Street in the City of Bradford. This warrant stemmed from the actor John-Jay F. Rhodes crashing a motor vehicle into a utility pole near the Kwik Fill on East Main Street and then leaving the scene on foot. The actor was captured leaving the scene on surveillance video and he forgot his drivers license on the seat as well as fresh order of chicken wings from a nearby establishment which witnesses said he had left with. Investigating Officers learned that the vehicle had been left with Rhodes by the owner to repair damaged body panels however he did not have permission to use it for personal use and drive it on any roadway at his leisure. The damage caused to the vehicle and the Penelec utility pole was severe. Rhodes was arraigned in front of Magistrate Cercone and released on $5,000 percentage bail. Preliminary hearing is set in the matter.
