City of Bradford Police investigated a stabbing that occurred back on January 24th, 2020 at the Lighter Side Bar 19 Mechanic Street. The defendant, Jamie D. Reedus-Gilyard had fled prior to police arrival and traveled to Buffalo NY after the assault. There was an active arrest warrant issued for him as he was intentionally avoiding law enforcement. Reedus-Gilyard was recently apprehended in Buffalo NY and held for extradition to PA on these charges. On December 3rd, 2021 City of Bradford Police extradited Reedus-Gilyard back to PA and he was arraigned by District Magistrate David Engman who remanded Reedus-Gilyard to McKean County Jail on $200,000 cash bail. Preliminary hearings have been set in the matter.
