On September 17th, 2021 at approximately 1545 hrs, City of Bradford Police observed a male Steven M. Parsons walking on Chestnut Street in the City of Bradford. The Officer knew there was an active Felony arrest warrant on Parsons for sending sexually explicit photographs to a minor. The arrest warrant was from Port Allegany Police Department as that crime occurred in that jurisdiction. Bradford City Police stopped Parsons and attempted to take him into custody telling him he had an active arrest warrant. Parsons would not comply and actively resisted arrest. Physical Force was used to subdue Parsons. Officers found Parsons to be in possession of Crystal Methamphetamine Schedule II. He was arraigned and remanded to McKean County Jail for the charges in relation to Port Allegany's investigation and also charged with resisting arrest and possession of the Methamphetamine. Preliminary hearings have been set in the matter.
