On February 12th, 2023 at approximately 0221 hrs, City of Bradford Police attempted to stop a vehicle on Barbour Street driving with no tail lights. The vehicle failed to yield to lights and siren. The vehicle eventually came to a stop at the City Line Bar parking lot when the male driver Christopher Horton ran from the truck. A foot pursuit then occurred until Officers caught him in the back yard of a residence off Poplin Ave. Horton was taken into custody for DUI, fleeing and eluding, driving suspended, driving without tail lights, and fleeing on foot. While in custody Horton repeatedly threatened to kill police officers. Horton was arraigned by Magistrate William Todd who placed $25,000 cash bail on him. Horton was able to post bail and was released. Preliminary hearings are set in the matter.
