In the early morning hours of December 25th The City of Bradford Police Department received several calls for a suspicious person going from house to house. The man was described as an older, heavy set gentleman with a white beard. He was wearing a red suit and carrying a large bag. The callers reported that presents were left under their Christmas trees and that the only thing missing from their homes were milk and cookies. One caller reported that they had received a lump of coal. The suspicious man shouted “Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night” and then left the scene driving a sleigh towed by 9 reindeer. One eyewitness was able to give police a description of the man as seen in the attached photo.
The City of Bradford Police Department would like to wish all of our residents a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
