On 03-14-19 at approximately 1622 hrs, City of Bradford Police responded to 276 South Ave. for a Domestic dispute in progress. Upon arrival Officers were able to separate Donald McClelland and his son David McClelland whom were the two fighting within the residence. Officers on scene learned that Donald McClelland was under the influence of alcohol to the degree he was impaired when he engaged into this argument with his son David McClelland over pizza and wings. Specifically, the argument broke out in relation the size of the chicken wings that were purchased being to small. During the argument Donald McClelland went to the basement, retrieved his Ruger .45 Caliber handgun and loaded it with a full magazine of bullets and racked the slide placing one bullet in the chamber before pointing it at his son directly and threatening to kill him more than one time. The firearm was found loaded inside the residence next to Donald McClelland's full 16 oz open can of cold Miller Lite. The firearm was seized into evidence.
Donald K. McClelland was arrested on scene for the following charges. Misdemeanor 1 Terroristic Threats, Misdemeanor 2 Simple Assault by Physical Menace, Misdemeanor 2 2705 Reckless Endangering Another Person, Summary 2709 A1 Harassment. Magistrate Richard Luther arraigned Donald K. McClelland and remanded him to jail on $25,000 cash bail.
