On 12/02/18 this officer received information from McKean County 911 Dispatch that Brett A. Bunker was wanted stemming from an incident in Limestone, NY and he may be in the Bradford Area. they additionally advised there was warrant issued for Mr. Bunker with full extradition.
At 1935 hrs officers were dispatched to the area of Rockland Avenue for a sighting of Mr. Bunker. While canvasing the area an officer did spot Mr. Bunker wrapped in a blanket. Mr. Bunker then fled on foot into the back yards of residences on Rockland Avenue and then into the back yards of residences of East Main Street. Officers set up a perimeter form Lincoln Avenue to Jerome Avenue and Rockland to East Main Street. Once additional officers arrived to provide assistance with maintaining the perimeter, officers then began to search the back yards for Mr. Bunker.
Mr. Bunker was subsequently located and taken into custody on the authority of the warrant without incident. He was then transported to BPD, processed and arraigned before Judge Cercone as a Fugitive From Justice. Judge Cercone remanded Mr. Bunker to the McKean County Jail without bail.
The City of Bradford Police were assisted by Bradford Township Police, Foster Township Police and the University of Pittsburgh Campus Police.
